The Techno Prestige from Indonesian Students

Tim Robotika Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 2 Banyumas juara I pada 11th World Robotic for Peace (WRP) 2022. Kompetisi ini diselenggarakan oleh IRTC (International Robotic Training and Competition) di Universitas Teknologi Malaysia.

Attended by participants from 15 countries, WRP will take place from November 29 to December 3, 2022. The MAN 2 Banyumas team achieved achievements in 2 categories. First, the first winner of The Best Point on the Analog Line Follower Robot. The team consists of Faiz Khoirul Fuadi XI MIPA 2 and Eka Erlangga Putra Syariful Hanan XI MIPA.

Second, the main first place in the IoT Soccer Robot. His team consisted of Adan Syahrul Junior XI MIPA 4 Gitara Parasdya Abimanyu XI MIPA 6. These two teams competed under the guidance of Toto Prasetyo and Singgih Hutomo Aji.

Head of MAN 2 Banyumas Muhamad Siswanto admitted that he was proud and grateful for the achievements of the MAN 2 Banyumas robotics team. According to him, this is the first time his madrasa achievements have been in an international championship.

He said madrasas should have thrust and make a leap in progress through the achievements achieved. Educational institutions, he said, should always be vying for good.

"In order to have strong leverage or thrust, madrasas must change their mindset. So that what used to run mediocrely, then with the acceleration of the leap of achievement achieved by students, it became an extraordinary madrasa," he said in Banyumas on Friday, December 2, 2022, as reported from the official website of the Ministry of Religion.

In an increasingly limitless world, he said, students need to be trained to expand their reach, not only on a regional and national scale, but also internationally. This has been proven by four MAN 2 Banyumas students at the WRP 2022 international event.

Siswanto, his nickname, hopes that all the academic community will move together to achieve that.

"The momentum this time is the momentum for the rise of the madrasa," he said.

The same thing was conveyed by the Deputy Head of Academic Affairs of MAN 2 Banyumas Sujono. He feels happy with the achievements of his students, especially in international events.

"Alhamdulillah, I represent all madrasah residents very grateful for the achievements of students at the WRP 2022 international event in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Of course, this is a very proud historical record for MAN 2 Banyumas," he said.
